People who tend to buy Troy-Bilt – as opposed to John Deere – have a ton of questions about yard care and equipment. And they won’t purchase till those questions are answered.
The Solution
Ask Troy 24/7. On social channels with short, how-to videos created by influencers, we were one of the first outdoor power equipment brands to create content with influencers. Or in-aisle at The Home Depot (signage provided prompts). We set out to become the assistive brand while every other brand was fighting over the position of toughest and most durable. We even created the first Alexa skill for an OPE brand, which helps homeowners find the time to mow. The Ask Troy skill takes their personal calendar, real-time weather information and personal preferences into account and puts mow time on their calendars.
