Four themes set the stage for renovation, remodeling in 2024
March 10th 2024
The Kitchen and Bath Show (KBIS) and the International Builders Show (IBS) are two of the biggest shows in the renovation and remodeling industries. Thousands of contractors, product manufacturers and tool makers from around the world descend on Las Vegas February 25-27 to show their wares and to share thoughts on what's hot and what's coming.
Marcus Thomas always has a team at the show, as well, representing a number of clients in this space and covering every inch and every story.
At the culmination of this year's show, Tim Wild, Marcus Thomas' director of planning services, wrote a tidy summary of four trends he observed and how these trends were being (or could be) incorporated into hard goods for the home. Beyond informing product design, Wild says four of the most popular trends – nostalgia, health and wellness, eco-conscious, and small-space living – have relevance for all kitchen, bath and building product brands.
