Marcus Thomas Public Relations team honored with two Silver Anvils from PRSA

PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, announced October 27, 2020 the winners of the Silver Anvil Awards, which recognize the best public relations campaigns of the year and the highest standards of performance for the profession.
Marcus Thomas LLC earned two Silver Anvils: in the Content Marketing-Consumer Services category "What's Your Dollar Sign? How KeyBank Got Personal With Content" for client KeyBank; and in the Integrated Communications-Consumer Products-Non-Packaged Goods Category, "Got a Lawn and Garden Question? Just ask Troy," for client Troy-Bilt.
The KeyBank "What’s Your Dollar Sign? A Financial Personality Quiz" (www.keybank/dollarsign) lived on key.com. People were directed from a variety of digital touchpoints, such as touts on the key.com homepage, email, social media and through influencers. The approach was steeped in psychological research and modelled after popular personality quizzes. Creative names and colorful illustrations identified each of our seven personality types, such as “The Fortune Teller” and “The Archer.”
The "Just Ask Troy" program was designed to differentiate the Troy-Bilt brand and offering with millennials. This multi-faceted effort leveraged influencers as partnered yard and garden experts to build credibility among our Millennial audience, as well as the media, and featured innovative uses of Instagram Live with Videos, a Facebook chatbot and the first-ever at-home voice assistant mowing schedule.
PRSA presented 53 Silver Anvil Awards and 58 Awards of Excellence. Winning campaigns spanned those from leading brands, agencies, non-profit organizations, government agencies and universities. Click here to see the full list of Silver Anvil Award winners.
